Plastic and Online Ordering.

Big change # 1. Plan-it-x is no longer taking online orders. It's too boring and people who order online can be very mean and PayPal doesn't need any of your money. Mostly it's because I don't like being online for many many hours and i don't like emails like, "I sent an order two days ago and I want my conformation # and tracking #". We don't do that. Sorry. No offense. The solution is easy, Order from NO IDEA RECORDS instead. It is almost the same price and I can vouch for them being great people and plan-it-x still gets $4 per CD that sells though them. Of course, you can still order the old fashion (fun) way by sending $ in the mail (it's not that scary) or sending a money order (see how to order for more details). All the plan-it-x stuff in the NO IDEA catalog has a nice little section for its self. look:

Change #2. Less plastic. I am going to stop using jewel boxes on all plan-it-x releases. All new releases and re-pressings will be in either the digi-pack (less plastic and less likely to break) or paper or cardboard sleeves. A while ago I learned about the TX sized mass of plastic garbage in the pacific ocean and since then I have cut way down on the plastic I consume. No more soda bottles. No more fancy bolthouse juices or earth balance (in those tubs) or anything else I can live without. Please don't mention recycling, we all know that it's a joke. So obviously getting rid of jewel boxes is the next step. I encourage everyone to read about this huge problem and to stop buying things in plastic. Most of the oxygen we breath comes form the algae in the sea and we are going to destroy the ocean if we keep up our life styles (not to mention the sea life). Listen to this NPR thing about it:
