You thought winter is over? Well 4 Member of recently deceased Street Smart Cyclist decided that it should be Snowing all year long. We can all agree that that was a really lame introduction to the band. "This somehow successfully cross-breeds two distinctly different styles that really shouldn't mesh, but seem to work wonderfully together with this group. You have some of that intricate-noodley math rock stuff akin to maybe Algernon Cadwallader mixed up with a bit of the loud and brash, somewhat sloppy and noisy Gainesville punk sound. You'd think that you can't be sloppy and play noodley right? Well, each song on here sort of feels like they're working that intricate stuff for a bit, get tired of it just when it's starting to get pretty good, and need a break so they can throw their instruments around a bit, and go full bore with a heavier rocking thing near the end. It's really cool. I like the very obscure Simpsons reference in "Methuselah Rookie Card".. clever. Silkscreened covers on all these suckers.
